Job Description

The Bartender prepares and serves cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, soft drinks and other beverages in line with Jumeirah standards. Requirements typically include previous bartending experience in a luxury hotel, resort or high-volume bar, good knowledge of beverages and cocktail preparation, strong English communication skills, and a professional, guest-focused attitude. The candidate is expected to maintain excellent hygiene, follow responsible alcohol-service procedures, handle payments accurately, control stock, and keep the bar clean and well presented. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential. Experience with international guests, knowledge of additional languages, and a recognised beverage or hospitality qualification would be advantageous.
