Company Info

Located on Belitung Island in Indonesia, the resort serves leisure travelers, families, corporate guests, weddings, and group events. Its operation typically combines guest accommodation with restaurants, banquet facilities, recreation, and leisure experiences connected to the island’s beaches and marine environment. As an international hotel brand, Sheraton emphasizes warm hospitality, consistent service standards, teamwork, guest engagement, and professional development. Destination Guide

Belitung is a relaxed Indonesian island known for white-sand beaches, granite rock formations, clear water, seafood, and a slower pace of life than Jakarta or Bali. Hospitality provides many opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, diving, transport, and tourism services; related jobs may also be available in construction, retail, education, and administration. Local culture blends Malay traditions with Chinese-Indonesian influence, and Bahasa Indonesia is essential, while English is valuable in resorts. Lifestyle is generally peaceful and community-oriented, although shopping, healthcare, and entertainment are more limited than in major cities. Foreign employees normally need employer sponsorship and an appropriate Indonesian work visa and stay permit; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Before relocating, confirm sponsorship, salary, housing, transport, insurance, tax treatment, and flight arrangements. Domestic flights and ferries connect Belitung with larger Indonesian hubs.
