Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a highly international lifestyle across cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, events, design, technology and business services provide regular employment opportunities, especially for candidates with strong English and relevant experience. UAE culture blends Emirati traditions with communities from around the world; modest dress and respect for local customs are appreciated. Dubai offers modern apartments, restaurants, beaches, shopping and extensive public transport, although housing and schooling can be expensive. Employers usually sponsor a residence visa and work permit after an offer is accepted, with medical checks and Emirates ID registration required. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, transport, insurance, annual leave and gratuity before relocating. International flights, document attestation and initial living costs should also be planned. Climate is hot for much of the year, with milder winters.
