Job Description

The Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing and maintaining resort vehicles, machinery and mechanical equipment. Requirements typically include relevant mechanical qualifications or trade experience, practical knowledge of engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and the ability to use workshop tools safely. A valid driver’s licence and experience in a hotel, resort, facilities or automotive environment may be preferred. The successful candidate should be dependable, safety-conscious and able to work independently or as part of the engineering team. The role may involve preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, record keeping, supporting other departments and working flexible shifts, including weekends or public holidays when required.
