Job Description

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and related areas to Westin and Marriott standards. Requirements generally include previous housekeeping or hotel experience, strong attention to detail, physical stamina, reliable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates should be comfortable standing, bending and lifting for extended periods, handling cleaning products safely, and working varied shifts including weekends and public holidays. A professional presentation, friendly attitude, respect for guest privacy and effective communication are expected. Training may be provided, although hospitality experience and knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures are advantageous.
