Job Description

The Engineering Intern supports the hotel’s engineering and maintenance team with routine inspections, preventive maintenance, basic repairs, equipment checks, and troubleshooting across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Candidates should be studying engineering, building services, electrical, mechanical, or a related technical discipline, with practical interest in hotel operations. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety procedures is useful. The role requires a willingness to learn, attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions and safety standards. Candidates are expected to work professionally with colleagues and guests, maintain accurate records, respond promptly to maintenance requests, and remain flexible with shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
