Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not a single island, but Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island offers a coastal lifestyle with beaches, museums, restaurants, resorts, and easy access to the city. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, healthcare, finance, and technology provide substantial job opportunities. The culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values, and a highly international population; respectful dress and conduct are important, especially during Ramadan. Lifestyle options range from beach activities and desert trips to shopping, dining, and cultural events. Employers normally sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical checks, and Emirates ID processing for eligible overseas hires. Confirm whether accommodation, transport, flights, insurance, and gratuity are included in the contract. Housing in Abu Dhabi can be expensive, so employer-provided accommodation is valuable. New arrivals should budget for deposits, transportation, mobile service, and daily expenses.
