Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Ajman, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, healthcare, technology, and logistics provide many employment opportunities. Ajman offers a quieter and generally more affordable lifestyle than Dubai, while beaches, shopping centers, cultural sites, and restaurants are easily accessible. The culture is multicultural, with Islamic traditions influencing public behavior, dress, and holidays; respectful conduct is important. Employers normally arrange an employment visa, work permit, medical examination, Emirates ID, and often accommodation or transport for hotel staff. Candidates should confirm salary, benefits, probation terms, working hours, and deductions before accepting an offer. The UAE has hot summers, modern infrastructure, and tax-free personal income in most employment situations. Relocating employees should budget for personal expenses and keep official documents available.
