Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a highly international destination with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, events, marketing and business services. Dubai offers a fast-paced lifestyle, modern infrastructure, excellent restaurants, beaches, shopping and year-round entertainment, while Abu Dhabi provides a quieter, more cultural environment. UAE workplaces are multicultural, and professional communication, punctuality and respect for local Islamic customs are important. Employers normally sponsor work visas, medical checks, Emirates ID registration and related residency procedures for eligible employees. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, flights, insurance and annual leave are included in the offer. Living costs, particularly rent, can be high, so salary and benefits should be assessed together. Summers are extremely hot, although indoor facilities are well air-conditioned.
