Destination Guide

Aruba is a sunny Dutch Caribbean island known for Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, clear water, strong tourism, and a relaxed but service-focused lifestyle. Major employment opportunities are found in hotels, restaurants, casinos, retail, transportation, water activities, wellness, and event services. The local culture blends Dutch, Caribbean, Latin American, and international influences; Papiamento, Dutch, English, and Spanish are commonly heard. Life is generally outdoor-oriented, with beaches, snorkeling, diving, wind sports, hiking, and vibrant dining. Aruba is relatively dry and windy, with warm weather year-round, but housing and imported goods can be expensive. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and residence authorization before starting employment; requirements vary by nationality and contract. Candidates should confirm sponsorship, accommodation, transportation, health insurance, taxes, and contract conditions directly with the employer and Aruban authorities before relocating.
