The Commis supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating, storage and cleaning in line with Marriott standards. Typical requirements include basic culinary knowledge, food-safety awareness, good hygiene, willingness to work shifts, and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Previous hotel or restaurant experience is helpful but entry-level candidates with culinary training may also be considered. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently under pressure, maintain an organized and sanitary workstation, minimize waste, cooperate with chefs and colleagues, and provide consistent food quality.
