Destination Guide

Thailand offers a wide range of hospitality opportunities in Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya, and other resort destinations. Jobs are common in hotels, restaurants, spas, diving centers, events, and tourism services. Bangkok provides a busy urban lifestyle, while islands offer beaches, outdoor activities, a slower pace, and seasonal employment. Thai culture values politeness, respect, hospitality, and appropriate dress, especially in workplaces and temples. Living costs vary: Bangkok and Phuket are generally more expensive than smaller islands, while accommodation and transport may be limited in remote areas. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit before legally working; requirements can change, so check with the Thai embassy and employer. Relocating employees should arrange valid qualifications, health insurance, finances, and verified accommodation before arrival.
