Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a Gulf country, with Abu Dhabi and Dubai offering extensive opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, and events. The culture combines Islamic traditions with a highly international workforce; modest dress, respectful behavior, and awareness of local customs are important. Abu Dhabi offers a modern, safe lifestyle, excellent infrastructure, beaches, shopping, desert activities, and year-round sunshine, although summers are extremely hot. Employers commonly sponsor employment visas, arrange medical testing, and process work permits, but the exact package should be confirmed before accepting an offer. Contracts may include accommodation, transport, meals, health insurance, annual leave, and return airfare. Candidates should verify recruitment fees, working hours, probation terms, and accommodation details. Relocation costs, document attestation, and initial living expenses should also be planned for carefully.
