Job Description

The Cook II – La Plage role supports the kitchen team in preparing and presenting high-quality food for the beachside restaurant. Candidates should have previous experience in a professional hotel or restaurant kitchen, knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, portion control, hygiene standards, and safe equipment use. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, following recipes, maintaining consistent quality, keeping workstations clean, and supporting service during busy periods. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently under pressure, follow instructions, communicate well with colleagues, maintain Marriott and Ritz-Carlton standards, and demonstrate flexibility with shifts, weekends, and holidays. Culinary training or relevant certification is advantageous.
