Reservations Agent

Job Description

The Reservations Agent manages room bookings, amendments, cancellations, and guest enquiries through telephone, email, and reservation systems. Requirements typically include previous reservations, front-office, or customer-service experience; strong English communication; computer literacy; attention to detail; and familiarity with hotel property-management or central-reservation systems. Knowledge of Marriott standards and additional languages may be advantageous. The candidate is expected to provide accurate information, convert enquiries into confirmed reservations, maintain up-to-date booking records, coordinate with Front Office and Revenue teams, and deliver polished, personalized service. Flexibility, professionalism, sales awareness, and the ability to work shifts in a remote island resort environment are important.
