Destination Guide

The UAE is not an island, but it is a popular Gulf destination offering strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, catering, tourism, aviation, retail, and events. Dubai provides a highly international lifestyle, modern infrastructure, beaches, shopping, nightlife, and year-round hospitality demand. The culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values, and a large expatriate community; respectful dress, conduct, and awareness of local customs are important. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are generally warm and comfortable. Employers normally arrange an employment visa, work permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID after hiring; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Many hotel packages include staff accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and return flights. Candidates should confirm contract terms, service charges, working hours, accommodation standards, and leave entitlements before relocating. Dubai’s cost of living can be high, especially for private housing.
