Job Description

The Lifestyle Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a welcoming, energetic experience for guests at Aloft by Marriott Palm Jumeirah. Candidates should have previous bartending or hospitality experience, good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer and wine, and strong customer-service and communication skills. Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing drinks consistently, maintaining bar cleanliness, checking stock, handling payments and following food-safety, licensing and responsible-service standards. The successful candidate is expected to be confident, well presented, dependable and comfortable working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Experience in a hotel, resort or high-volume bar is preferred, along with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
