Job Description

This internship is designed for students gaining practical experience in hotel front-office operations at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel. Typical requirements include current enrollment in a hospitality, tourism, business, or related programme, good communication skills, a professional appearance, basic computer knowledge, and a willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Candidates are expected to welcome guests, support check-in and check-out, answer enquiries, handle calls and reservations, coordinate with other departments, and maintain accurate guest records. Customer service, teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential. English is generally required, while Bahasa Malaysia and other languages are useful. Previous hotel experience may be helpful but is not always necessary for an internship.
