Destination Guide

Although the UAE is not an island, Abu Dhabi offers a coastal lifestyle with beaches, waterfront promenades, cultural attractions, shopping, and desert excursions. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, finance, construction, healthcare, and technology provide significant employment opportunities, especially in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values, and a highly international population; respectful dress and behavior are important in public and professional settings. Daily life is modern and convenient, though summer temperatures are extremely high. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical testing, and Emirates ID applications, but candidates should confirm the benefits package before accepting an offer. Relocation costs, housing, transport, health insurance, and annual flights vary by employer. Abu Dhabi is generally safe, family-friendly, and well connected, with accommodation ranging from shared housing to upscale apartments.
