Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a highly international destination with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, restaurants, retail, aviation, events, and business services, especially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Its culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values, and a large expatriate community. Daily life offers modern shopping, beaches, desert activities, dining, entertainment, and excellent infrastructure, although summers are extremely hot. Most overseas employees require an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit; employers commonly arrange medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and relocation support. A passport valid for the required period, authenticated documents, and a signed employment contract may be needed. Benefits such as accommodation, transport, meals, health insurance, annual leave, and return flights vary by employer. New arrivals should budget for deposits and personal expenses, follow local laws and dress expectations, and confirm salary, service charge, housing, working hours, and visa arrangements before travel.
