Job Description

The Director of Rooms leads the hotel’s rooms division, including front office, housekeeping, guest services and related operations. Candidates are generally expected to have several years of leadership experience in luxury or upscale hotels, strong knowledge of rooms operations, budgeting, quality standards and guest relations. A degree or diploma in hospitality management is usually preferred, along with excellent English communication, commercial awareness and team-management skills. The role requires a hands-on, guest-focused leader who can maintain Marriott and Ritz-Carlton service standards, improve operational performance, manage departmental costs and collaborate effectively with other hotel departments. Experience in an international luxury property and familiarity with hotel systems are valuable advantages.
