Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities in Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya and other resort destinations. Common vacancies include front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, wellness, diving, sales and hotel management. Thai culture values politeness, respect, service and maintaining a calm manner, while daily life can be affordable compared with many international cities. Island living brings beaches, outdoor activities and a relaxed pace, but may involve seasonal work, higher transport costs and fewer services than Bangkok. Foreign nationals generally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and a work permit before legally working; requirements depend on nationality, position and employer. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, meals, service charge, insurance and visa support in writing. Bangkok is usually the easiest relocation base, with extensive transport, healthcare and international communities, while resort areas offer a more leisure-focused lifestyle.
