Job Description

The F&B Support Expert supports daily food and beverage operations at Silver Palm, helping maintain smooth, efficient service. Duties may include preparing and resetting tables, delivering and clearing food and beverages, replenishing supplies, assisting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and following food-safety and hygiene standards. Candidates should be reliable, physically fit, well presented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury resort environment. Good communication, teamwork, flexibility with shifts, and attention to detail are expected. Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience is helpful, although training may be provided. This vacancy is specifically advertised for Caymanians, so applicants should have the required local status and authorization to work in the Cayman Islands.

Company Info

The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman is a luxury beachfront resort operated under Marriott International’s Ritz-Carlton brand. Located on Seven Mile Beach, the resort offers upscale accommodation, restaurants and bars, spa services, recreational activities, meeting facilities, and personalized guest experiences. Its service culture emphasizes genuine care, refined presentation, professionalism, and attention to detail. Employees work in an international hospitality environment serving leisure travelers, families, business guests, and high-end event groups. The resort is also known for its connection to Caymanian culture and the destination’s marine and island lifestyle. As part of Marriott International, eligible employees may have access to company training, career development, travel-related benefits, and opportunities across a global hotel network. Working at the property generally requires flexibility, teamwork, and a strong commitment to luxury-service standards.

Destination Guide

The Cayman Islands offer employment opportunities in tourism, hotels, restaurants, finance, construction, healthcare, retail, marine services, and professional fields. Caymanian culture combines Caribbean traditions with a highly international community, and English is the main language. Grand Cayman has excellent beaches, clear water, diving, boating, restaurants, and shopping, although living costs—especially rent, groceries, and transport—are high. The lifestyle is generally safe, relaxed, outdoors-focused, and family friendly. Work authorization is important: Caymanian applicants have priority, while expatriates normally require an employer-sponsored work permit and cannot simply relocate and work without approval. This vacancy is specifically for Caymanians, so non-Caymanians may not be eligible. Prospective relocators should confirm salary, service-charge arrangements, accommodation, health insurance, transport, and permit responsibilities before accepting an offer. A valid passport, medical clearance, and other official documentation may be required.
