Job Description

The Steward supports the kitchen and food-and-beverage operation by washing dishes, utensils, cookware and equipment; maintaining cleanliness in kitchens, storage areas and service stations; disposing of waste safely; and assisting with basic stock handling. Candidates should be physically fit, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Good hygiene awareness, teamwork, punctuality and the ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures are essential. Previous kitchen stewarding, dishwashing or hotel experience is helpful but may not be required. The successful candidate is expected to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, maintain Marriott service standards and cooperate professionally with chefs, servers and other hotel departments.
