The Demi Chef (Pastry) supports the pastry kitchen by preparing desserts, breads, cakes, and other baked items according to Renaissance Johor Bahru’s recipes and quality standards. Candidates should have culinary or pastry training and practical experience in a hotel, bakery, or professional kitchen. The role requires good knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, portion control, mise en place, and kitchen hygiene. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions, maintain consistent presentation and quality, control wastage, and cooperate with chefs and other departments.
