Company Info

Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa is a beachfront hotel in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, operating under the globally recognised Sheraton brand, part of Marriott International. The resort caters to leisure travellers, families, business guests, and groups, offering accommodation, restaurants, event facilities, recreational amenities, and spa services. Its location provides access to Sharjah’s cultural attractions while remaining within reach of Dubai. As a Marriott property, the resort is expected to follow international standards in guest service, hospitality operations, brand presentation, and employee development. The Social Media Executive supports the hotel’s public image by showcasing its rooms, dining, experiences, facilities, events, and destination appeal through digital channels. Employees may benefit from working in a multicultural environment, Marriott training resources, and potential access to internal career opportunities across the company’s international hotel portfolio.

Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a highly developed Gulf destination with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, events, technology, finance, and construction. Dubai and Abu Dhabi offer the largest employment markets, while Sharjah generally provides a quieter, more family-oriented lifestyle and often lower living costs. The culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values, and a very international population. Respectful dress and behaviour are expected, particularly in public and religious places. Lifestyle options include beaches, malls, desert activities, cultural sites, and diverse restaurants. Most expatriate employees need employer-sponsored residency and a work permit; the company normally arranges medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and visa formalities. Before relocating, confirm accommodation, transport, health insurance, annual leave, flights, gratuity, and other benefits. Summers are extremely hot, so air-conditioned housing and transport are important.
