The Director of Rooms oversees Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services and related rooms operations, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction, efficient service and strong financial performance. Candidates should have substantial hotel leadership experience, preferably in an upscale or international property, with knowledge of rooms division procedures, budgeting, staffing and quality standards. Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work across departments and manage multicultural teams. Marriott experience and familiarity with Opera or other hotel systems may be advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to lead by example, maintain brand standards, improve operational results and create a welcoming, consistent experience for residents and guests.
