Candidates should have vocational training or practical experience in refrigeration, air-conditioning or kitchen-equipment maintenance, with knowledge of electrical controls, compressors, refrigerants and safe working procedures. Resort or hotel engineering experience is strongly preferred. The successful candidate is expected to respond quickly to breakdowns, carry out preventive maintenance, maintain accurate service records, support kitchen operations and comply with Marriott, Bulgari, health, safety and environmental standards. Flexibility, teamwork, good communication, physical stamina and the ability to work shifts in a remote island resort are essential.
