Job Description

The Storekeeper manages the receiving, storage, and issuing of food, beverages, operating supplies, and other resort inventory. Requirements generally include previous storekeeping or hotel inventory experience, basic computer and stock-control skills, good physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate records. Familiarity with inventory systems, FIFO procedures, stocktaking, and safe handling practices is valuable. The successful candidate is expected to receive deliveries accurately, inspect goods for quality and quantity, maintain clean and organized storage areas, monitor stock levels, reduce wastage, and support departments promptly. Good communication, honesty, reliability, and the flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are essential in a luxury island resort.
