The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations, food preparation, menu execution, ordering, stock control and maintaining high culinary standards. Requirements typically include professional culinary training, several years of commercial kitchen experience, strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and the ability to lead a diverse team. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently under pressure, maintain consistent quality and presentation, control costs, train junior chefs and contribute positively to the kitchen culture.
