Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities across Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Koh Chang, Pattaya, and coastal resort areas such as Rayong. Common roles include front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, culinary, spa, engineering, sales, and guest relations. Thai workplace culture values politeness, respect for seniority, teamwork, and calm communication; learning basic Thai is helpful. Island life usually provides beaches, outdoor activities, affordable local food, and a relaxed pace, though transport, housing, healthcare access, and seasonal income can vary. Rayong is on the mainland but has easy access to nearby islands and beaches, including Koh Samet. Foreign employees normally need a Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit, arranged with employer sponsorship before working. Applicants should confirm accommodation, service charge, working hours, insurance, and relocation assistance in writing. Thai citizens generally have a simpler hiring process.
