Job Description

The Conference and Events Supervisor coordinates conferences, meetings, banquets and related guest services from preparation through completion. Requirements typically include hospitality or events experience, strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, confidence supervising teams, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment. Familiarity with event systems, catering operations, health and safety procedures, and standard Microsoft Office tools is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to deliver polished service, liaise effectively with clients and internal departments, resolve issues promptly, supervise event setups and service, and maintain Marriott’s professional standards. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, is generally required.
