Job Description

The Food & Beverage Attendant supports restaurant, bar, banquet, and room-service operations at Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa. Duties typically include welcoming guests, taking and serving orders, setting and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness, processing payments, explaining menu items, and following food-safety and service standards. Candidates should have a friendly attitude, good communication skills, personal grooming, basic English, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy luxury-resort environment. Previous hotel or restaurant experience is helpful, although motivated candidates may be considered for entry-level opportunities. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, along with teamwork and strong attention to guest satisfaction, is expected.
