Typical requirements include previous restaurant or hotel experience, good spoken English, a professional appearance, food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate should be confident taking orders, explaining menu items, serving food and beverages, processing bills, maintaining service standards and responding courteously to guest requests.
