The Assistant Manager supports the hotel’s daily operations, helping ensure smooth guest service, efficient team performance and strong financial results. Responsibilities may include supervising front office and operational staff, handling guest enquiries and complaints, coordinating departments, monitoring standards, assisting with rosters and reporting, and acting as the manager on duty when required. Candidates are expected to have hotel or hospitality experience, confident leadership and communication skills, a professional appearance, sound judgement and a genuine focus on guest satisfaction. Experience with hotel systems, staff coaching and operational procedures is advantageous. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is normally required.
