Job Description

The Public Areas Attendant keeps hotel common areas clean, presentable and safe, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, public bathrooms and other guest facilities. Requirements generally include good physical fitness, attention to detail, reliability, a professional appearance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous hotel or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to follow hygiene, safety and chemical-handling procedures, respond courteously to guests, maintain efficient cleaning standards and work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays. Good communication skills and a positive, service-focused attitude are important.
