Destination Guide

Bermuda offers employment in hospitality, tourism, finance, professional services, retail, construction, healthcare, and marine industries. The culture blends British, Caribbean, Portuguese, and international influences, with strong traditions in music, sailing, cricket, and community life. The lifestyle is relaxed but relatively expensive, especially for housing, groceries, transportation, and utilities. Beaches, snorkeling, boating, golf, and outdoor activities are major attractions, while Hamilton provides restaurants, shops, nightlife, and business services. Foreign nationals generally need employer sponsorship and a Bermuda work permit before starting employment; approval depends on the role, qualifications, advertising requirements, and local labor considerations. Candidates should confirm whether the position is genuinely U.S.-based or requires relocation, as this listing indicates a U.S.-market focus. Relocating employees should arrange accommodation, immigration documents, health coverage, banking, and transportation in advance. Bermuda uses the U.S. dollar alongside its own currency.
