The Senior Conference & Events Executive coordinates conferences, meetings, weddings and other functions from initial enquiry through to delivery. The role involves preparing proposals and contracts, managing client relationships, coordinating with food and beverage, kitchen, rooms and operations teams, conducting site inspections, creating event schedules and ensuring smooth execution. Candidates are expected to have experience in conference, events or hotel sales, strong organisational and communication skills, commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail. Confidence in negotiating with clients, handling multiple events, meeting revenue targets and resolving issues professionally is important. Knowledge of hotel systems and Australian hospitality practices is advantageous.
