Job Description

The Groups Reservations Agent manages group accommodation bookings from initial enquiry through confirmation, coordinating room blocks, rates, deposits, amendments and guest requirements. The role requires strong administrative and communication skills, attention to detail, confidence using reservation or property-management systems, and the ability to manage deadlines accurately. Previous hotel reservations, front-office, or group coordination experience is preferred. The successful candidate is expected to provide warm, professional service, communicate clearly with clients and internal departments, protect booking accuracy and revenue, and remain calm while handling multiple requests. Knowledge of hotel operations and availability, along with good written and spoken English, is important.
