Job Description

The Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the hotel’s event and venue facilities, ensuring smooth service, strong guest satisfaction and commercial performance. Requirements typically include previous experience in venue, hospitality, events or food and beverage management; proven team-leadership skills; sound financial and operational understanding; and excellent communication. An understanding of workplace health and safety, responsible service of alcohol and event coordination is expected. The successful candidate should be organised, hands-on and confident managing busy functions, client relationships, suppliers, staff rosters and operational challenges. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays is likely essential, along with a professional approach and the ability to deliver consistent service in a high-volume environment.
