Destination Guide

Bermuda offers hospitality, tourism, food and beverage, marine recreation, retail, finance, construction, and professional-services opportunities, although many roles are seasonal or require an employer-sponsored work permit. Its culture blends British, African, Caribbean, Portuguese, and international influences, with strong traditions in music, sailing, cricket, festivals, and community life. The lifestyle is relaxed and outdoors-focused, featuring pink-sand beaches, swimming, snorkeling, boating, and a mild subtropical climate. Housing and everyday costs are high, and accommodation should be confirmed before relocating. Bermuda generally restricts car ownership for visitors and many residents use buses, ferries, scooters, or electric vehicles. Foreign applicants normally need a job offer before arrival; the employer applies for the work permit, and the role must meet local immigration requirements. Candidates should verify permit sponsorship, accommodation, salary, benefits, contract length, and healthcare arrangements directly with the employer.
