The role is likely to require a professional, collaborative approach, flexibility, discretion, and a willingness to support events, campaigns, and guest-facing activities when needed.

Company Info

Fairmont Southampton is a landmark luxury resort on Bermuda’s South Shore, known for its ocean views, beaches, restaurants, recreational facilities, and extensive meeting and event spaces. The property is associated with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, the luxury hospitality brand within Accor, a global hotel group operating thousands of properties across numerous countries. Fairmont Southampton is being developed and operated in partnership with Southampton Hospitality Partners, with a focus on restoring the resort as a major destination for leisure, weddings, business events, and international tourism. Employees typically work in a service-led environment where polished presentation, local knowledge, teamwork, and attention to guest experience are important. The resort also provides opportunities to collaborate with Bermuda-based businesses and tourism organisations.

Destination Guide

Bermuda offers opportunities in tourism, hotels, restaurants, marine activities, finance, retail, construction, healthcare, education, and professional services. Its culture blends British, African, Caribbean, and Portuguese influences, with a strong emphasis on community, courtesy, music, food, and outdoor life. Residents enjoy beaches, swimming, sailing, diving, golf, hiking, and a mild subtropical climate. Housing and everyday expenses are high, and most residents use scooters, buses, ferries, or taxis because rental cars are restricted. Overseas applicants normally need an employer-sponsored work permit; employers generally must demonstrate that the role cannot be filled by a suitably qualified Bermudian or eligible resident. Candidates should confirm permit eligibility, contract terms, accommodation, healthcare arrangements, and relocation costs before accepting an offer. Bermuda is attractive for hospitality professionals seeking island experience, but successful relocation requires careful budgeting and advance planning.
