Company Info

Fairmont Southampton is a major luxury resort brand property operated under Accor, one of the world’s leading hospitality groups. Located on Bermuda’s scenic South Shore, the resort has historically been known for its ocean views, beaches, golf facilities, restaurants, event venues and extensive guest services. Fairmont hotels focus on refined service, memorable experiences and high standards across accommodation, dining, meetings and leisure operations. As part of Accor, the property benefits from an international hospitality network, structured training opportunities and established operating standards. Destination Guide

Bermuda offers opportunities in hospitality, tourism, restaurants, marine services, finance, construction, healthcare and professional services, although many positions require employer sponsorship. The island has a distinctive British-influenced culture, strong community traditions, excellent beaches and a generally polished, service-oriented lifestyle. Residents commonly travel by bus, ferry, scooter or compact car, as standard rental cars and importing vehicles can be restricted. Living costs are high, especially for housing, groceries and transportation, so accommodation and benefits should be discussed before accepting an offer. Foreign workers normally need a work permit arranged by the employer before starting employment; requirements can include qualifications, references, medical checks and immigration documentation. Relocating employees should confirm housing support, health insurance, airfare, taxes, contract length and permit responsibility. Bermuda is attractive for people seeking an island environment, but its seasonal weather, limited space and expensive cost of living require careful planning.
