Cost Controller

Job Description

The Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring food, beverage, operating supplies and other hotel costs, maintaining accurate inventory records, reviewing purchase prices, investigating variances and preparing regular cost reports for management. Candidates should have hospitality finance or cost-control experience, strong numerical and analytical skills, and confidence using spreadsheets and hotel accounting systems. Knowledge of purchasing, stocktaking, portion control and financial procedures is valuable. The role requires accuracy, discretion, good organization and the ability to work with kitchen, restaurant, purchasing and finance teams. The successful candidate is expected to identify savings opportunities, maintain effective internal controls and help ensure the resort meets its budget and profitability targets.
