Company Info

Fairmont Southampton is a landmark luxury resort associated with the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand, part of Accor, one of the world’s leading hospitality groups. Located on Bermuda’s south shore, the resort has historically been known for ocean views, extensive grounds, golf, dining, meetings, and leisure facilities. Fairmont hotels are recognized for service-focused operations, elegant guest experiences, and strong standards across rooms, food and beverage, events, and wellness. Employees typically work in a multicultural environment with opportunities to develop through Accor’s international network. The Southampton property has undergone periods of closure and redevelopment, so the exact operating structure, reopening plans, and available benefits may vary. Destination Guide

Bermuda offers employment opportunities in hospitality, tourism, finance, retail, marine services, healthcare, education, and construction. The island has a distinct British-influenced culture, a strong community spirit, colorful traditions, and a mix of Bermudian, Caribbean, British, and international influences. Lifestyle is relaxed but relatively expensive, with beautiful beaches, boating, snorkeling, golf, and a mild subtropical climate. Most overseas workers need an employer-sponsored work permit, and employers generally must demonstrate that a suitable Bermudian or qualifying resident is unavailable. Work authorization should be secured before arrival, and permit conditions can limit job changes. Housing is limited and costly, so applicants should clarify staff accommodation, relocation assistance, and transport. Bermuda uses the Bermudian dollar, equivalent to the US dollar, and public transportation is widely used; visitors and many residents rely on buses, ferries, or scooters rather than private cars.
