Job Description

The Shift Building Operator is responsible for operating, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting kitchen, refrigeration, and related building equipment. Requirements typically include practical experience with commercial refrigeration, kitchen machinery, HVAC or general building systems, along with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Formal technical training, relevant certifications, safe-working knowledge, and the ability to read equipment manuals are advantageous. The successful candidate should be reliable, physically capable, safety-conscious, and available for rotating shifts, weekends, and emergency call-outs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while supporting hotel operations are expected.
