The Gardener is responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs, flower beds and landscaped areas throughout Fairmont Southampton. Duties typically include planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, mowing, trimming, removing weeds, operating landscaping tools and keeping outdoor areas attractive and safe. Candidates should have practical gardening or groundskeeping experience, knowledge of plants and basic horticultural practices, and the physical ability to work outdoors in Bermuda’s warm, humid and sometimes windy conditions. Safe use of machinery, reliable attendance, attention to detail and teamwork are expected. A relevant horticultural qualification, local experience and a valid driver’s licence would be advantages.
