Company Info

Fairmont Southampton is a luxury resort located on Bermuda’s South Shore, known for its ocean views, beaches, golf, spa facilities, restaurants, and extensive guest amenities. The property operates under the Fairmont brand, part of Accor, a global hospitality group with hotels and resorts across the world. Fairmont properties are recognized for refined service, distinctive destinations, and a strong focus on memorable guest experiences. Employees typically work in an international environment and collaborate across departments to deliver consistent luxury standards. Destination Guide

Bermuda offers opportunities mainly in hospitality, tourism, finance, retail, marine services, healthcare, education, and construction. The island has a distinctive British-influenced culture blended with African, Caribbean, Portuguese, and international traditions. Residents enjoy beautiful beaches, boating, diving, golf, outdoor activities, and a generally relaxed lifestyle, although housing, groceries, and transportation can be expensive. Public buses and ferries are widely used; visitors and residents generally use scooters rather than rental cars. Foreign nationals must obtain a Bermuda work permit before starting employment, and permits are normally arranged and sponsored by the employer. Applicants should confirm eligibility, contract terms, accommodation, healthcare, and relocation costs before accepting an offer. Staff housing may be limited, so securing suitable accommodation is important. Bermuda’s climate is mild but humid, with occasional hurricanes and tropical storms during the Atlantic hurricane season.
