Laundry Attendant

Job Description

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding and distributing hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry according to quality and hygiene standards. Candidates should ideally have previous laundry or hotel experience, familiarity with commercial laundry equipment, good physical stamina and an understanding of safe chemical handling. Attention to detail, cleanliness, reliability and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential. The role requires shift flexibility, including weekends and public holidays, as well as teamwork and professional communication with housekeeping and other departments. Experience in a luxury hotel is advantageous, while a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
