Job Description

The Cost Control Coordinator supports the hotel’s finance and purchasing functions by monitoring food, beverage, and operating costs. Typical responsibilities include checking receiving records, invoices, stock movements, inventory counts, wastage, pricing, and cost reports, while investigating discrepancies and preparing regular updates for management. Candidates are generally expected to have a degree or diploma in accounting, finance, hospitality management, or a related field, with experience in hotel cost control, inventory, or finance preferred. Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, Excel and accounting-system skills, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to work with multiple departments are important. The successful candidate should be proactive, accurate, ethical, and comfortable meeting deadlines in a fast-paced hotel environment.
